• I make homemade wheat bread about once a week
• I don't think I look good with short hair
• I have run 3 half marathons and 1 Ragnar Relay
• I don't watch TV and am not very knowledgeable about Pop Culture
• I have played the violin for 22 years. I love playing for weddings, receptions, or other special events
• I had my first swimming lessons at the age of 23
• I love cooking with fresh herbs
• I was born in Hawaii and grew up in California. I was 17 the first time I saw snow fall. 
• I was the only blond in my high school mariachi band
• I intentionally set goals outside my comfort zone. I remind myself of this quote by my college professor: "It's hard, but you can do hard things." 
• My college major was Exercise Science; emphasis: Fitness and Wellness Management
• I played the violin in a band as a teen. I wrote my own parts. I dreamed of donning red leather pants. 
• I've been working on learning "Fred Jones, Pt. 2" (by Ben Folds) on the piano for about 3 years now, and I've just about got it down!
• Top 2 dream vacation spots: Tahiti and Ireland
• I have a particularly refined produce palette, especially when it comes to fresh fruit.  It's kind of a curse.
• I really like gifts. Not just getting them, I like giving them, wrapping them, etc.  
• When I was 11, I participated in a daddy-daughter pie eating contest. I beat all the daughters...and  all the daddies.  
• I was awarded the "Worst Car" award in my high school Senior Class Hall of Fame
• I used to work training fire fighters in fitness and nutrition
• I love being in book clubs.
