Cravin's Candy Emporium: Website Product Photos

It’s amazing the difference professional images can make in online advertising, especially when a company is selling food items. A photograph can easily make a product look either unappetizing or truly mouthwatering. With more and more businesses including or increasing the amount of online ordering done, it is imperative that businesses have digital images that show off how great their products truly are. I had the great pleasure of working with Cravin’s Candy Emporium in Boise, Idaho to create some “eye candy” for their website. For this shoot, the owners decided on a sharp, white background for each of their items, to let the colors and quality of their products shine.

Boise Foothills Senior Portraits | Boise Senior Photographer

I love doing senior portraits! I love getting to know each senior and what makes each unique. I love hearing about post-high school plans, hobbies, family, and areas of interest. I love coming back home after a session inspired by these future leaders who are kind and compassionate. I can’t help but feel hopeful for our future. This senior session was just that. (And the light and colors in the Boise foothills combined to make this a dynamite senior session!)

Boise Product Photographer | Baby Blues and Pink - Holiday Fashion 2020 {Pink Chicken, NY with L’amour shoes}
Styled flat lay Imogyn dresses by Pink Chicken, photographed by Valerie Abenroth

Getting to photograph holiday products for Baby Blues and Pink (a fabulous, new children’s boutique in downtown Boise, Idaho) was so fun! First, simply being in the shop was an experience: Everything was beautifully designed and well laid out. Every detail seemed deliberate and it was clear so much care and love was taken by Shawna (the boutique owner) in creating her shop, much as the care and love that was taken by these clothing makers. I LOVE seeing people show such love, detail and care in their craft and business! If you are a Boise local, you must stop in and visit Baby Blues and Pink! If you are not local, you can order online! I started out with a flat-lay showcasing the Mommy-and-me matching fall dresses from Pink Chicken, NY (above), paired with L’amour shoes: dreamy.

Above: I think this ruffley, vintage Santa dress was my favorite from the Pink Chicken holiday wear I photographed. It is beyond darling! I LOVE this dress! (Again paired with the Cara Scalloped Leather Mary Jane shoes from L’amour’s Angel Baby line)
