Salt Lake City Dance Photography: Cora and Sydney Ballet Photos

I've never taken a dance class in my life (except for square dancing in junior high PE...does that count??) I played softball instead. But oh how I envied the beauty, grace, strength, and flexibility of dancers as I photographed two lovely ballerinas recently. These two girls did a lengthy intensive with Ballet West in Salt Lake City this summer, and I was lucky enough to do a photo shoot for them, which resulted in some of my favorite photos to date! Cora and Sydney, you girls are AMAZING!

We began a shoot at one of my favorite local parks; the light was to die for!

Next we drove over to the Utah State Capitol for a bit of a different feel.

We ended our shoot up behind the capitol at a scenic overlook.
