Park City, Utah; McPolin Farm Family Photographer: Haslip Family

I can't introduce this family session without mention of Abby, my first college roommate, one of my dearest friends, and the person who really ignited my interest in photography and answered all my questions about purchasing my first DSLR. This beautiful mom of 6 is Abby's older sister. I was thrilled when she contacted me asking if I could photograph her sweet family at "The White Barn" with the American Flag (located in Park City).  Such a perfectly gorgeous location for a perfectly lovely family!  I was amazed at how stress-free this session was; everyone seemed so relaxed and easy to work with. The kids were totally patient throughout our session and were up for whatever I wanted to try.  They helped to carry my gear in between locations (which this super pregnant photographer REALLY appreciated!) and they were kind and polite. Perhaps what has stuck with me the most is how they all just seemed to really enjoy being together! Haslip Family, you were a dream to work with!

I did no retouching to her skin, eyes, etc. whatsoever. She really just looks like this. And she has 6 kids. ( I know.)

This was one of my "test shots" to assess my lighting, but it ended up being one of my favorites!

We waited until just the right moment for these field photos, when the sun was low and the light was glorious!

LOVED seeing their individual personalities shine through! ha!
