Big Cottonwood Canyon; Utah Family Photographer: Black Family

When this family requested a mountain location, I knew I wanted to take them up Big Cottonwood Canyon! I had recently been hiking there, and the lush foliage, wildflowers, and mountain meadow against the evergreens just took my breath away. I love sessions like this, where it feels like we're just playing and frolicking in the mountains! The light was dreamy, the kids were adorable, and the family was willing to try whatever I had in mind.
